Since 1993 mountainWALKS have been offering some of the finest walking holidays in Spain.  Whether you are in search of a small group guided walking holiday led by our team of experienced walks leaders or prefer to set off on your own and discover the delights of the mountains. Self guided walks/hikes are catered for from our own comprehensive catalogue of self guided walks covering 90 walks, 1100 kilometres of footpaths and over 50,000 metres of ascent/descent. There is something here for every ability of walker from gentle walks through the countryside to strenuous days to satisfy the serious hill walkers.

16 years experience working with major international tour operators and directly with guests to provide the best possible holiday experience. The combination of great walks to suit most abilities, comfortable accommodation and excellent food have proved popular over the years, with many of our guests returning again and again.

There is no fix itinerary on our walking holidays.  Our itinerary for each week is chosen based on the season and the weather, however whatever walks itinerary we use the aim is always to give our visitors the best variety possible and a wide experience of this varied mountain region.

Located, between Valencia and Alicante, in a dramatic mountain region dotted with unspoilt traditional villages where time has stood still. Our holidays are based in the small mountain village of Quatretondeta in a number of recently restored and well appointed cottages . Quatretondeta is located on the flanks of the Sierra Serrella and directly below the striking limestone rock pinnacles known as ELS FRARES, the valencian name for the "friars or brothers".

Easy access is available from many regional airports with many low cost airlines flying into Alicante from all over Europe. Alicante airport is located just 60 mins drive to the south and Valencia airport is 75 mins to the north.

It has also become easier to travel to us by train from most of the major cities of North West Europe. We will be delighted to help and advise on your travel arrangements.
