Since 1993 Els Frares have been offering some of the finest walks to be found in Spain.

Almost 15 years working with major tour operators and directly with guests to provide the best possible holiday experience. These holidays are based in a delightful area of Spain, which few tourists see. Yet only a one- hour drive inland from the crowded Costa Blanca coast and easily accessible from both Alicante and Valencia airports.

A dramatic mountain region dotted with unspoilt traditional villages where time has stood still. Our holidays are based in the small mountain village of Quatretondeta at the award winning rural Hotel Els Frares or in our self catering cottages.

To ensure that visitors to these mountains obtain the best possible experience, we are delighted to offer the most varied and complete packages available in the Valencia region. A highly experienced and knowledge team of guides are available for our guided holidays. Some of our birding and flora holidays may be accompanied by experts. Or simply stay in the excellent accommodation and do your own thing. We can now supply route information plotted by GPS and with detailed notes for those who wish to walk without guides.
